Jacqueline “Jackie” Shizuno Alba, 68, of Hilo, died March 23, 2013, at St. Francis Hospice facility in Honolulu. Born June 25, 1944, in Pahala, she was formerly employed as a teller at Bank of Hawaii’s Waiakea Branch and City Bank, as well as a clerk at Arakaki Physical Therapy in Hilo.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 20 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. The family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by husband, Albert Alba Jr., of Hilo; son, Kiley (Elizabeth Gamiao) Alba, of Hilo; daughter, Colleen (Russell) Alba-Kuwahara, of Hilo; sisters, Betty Torigoe, of Honolulu, Miyako Mukai, of Wisconsin; three grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
